Jared Malone
Our Team

Executive Director
Jared Malone, LMSW
Jared is a Marine Corps veteran and former military contractor. Jared has led 3 teams into Ukraine since the invasion to bring aid, evacuate civilians, and helping to start a new shelter for displaced families in Ukraine. Jared works as a Licensed Master Social Worker, providing mental health therapy as a clinic-based counselor. Jared currently resides in Northern Idaho with his wife and two young children.

Director of Development
Dave Nelson
Dave is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a former private military contractor. He worked in the mental health field for 6 years with children who experienced trauma. Dave has lived outside of Salt Lake City, Utah for the last 15 years and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Medical Director
Stacy Patel, MSN
15+ years working as trauma/burn intensive care nurse. Formal ICU training from the University of Utah, proceeded by ICU care at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona; Duke University Hospital, Durham, North Carolina; Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia and Swedish Medical Center and Colorado Children’s hospital, Denver, Colorado. Recently graduated as an advanced practice nurse with a focus in surgery and infectious disease. She and her husband currently own and operate multiple medical centers and enjoy working alongside each other in helping the community by providing expertise medical care.

Strategy and Operations Director
Jen Reichuber MS, MBA
Jen is an innovative biotech, global health and technology consultant passionate about connecting people, ideas and organizations to solve challenges with immediate impact.
Jen has served on the board/worked with multiple international non profits. She has led groups of college students into developing countries to serve children and families in need, and served as an executive leader with an AIDS case work organization. Jen calls San Diego home.

Combat Trauma Training Coordinator
Jacob Malone, NRP
Jacob is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the military, he gained knowledge in combat related traumatic injuries and developed a passion for combat medicine. Jacob continues to grow that knowledge working as a firefighter and a nationally registered paramedic. Jacob lives outside of Denver and loves spending time with his wife and two dogs.

Campaign Director
Jessica Stone
Jessica has led several campaigns to raise funds for our shelter in L'viv and to deliver school supplies to L'viv and Kyiv. Jessica and her husband own and operate an automotive repair business that has served their local community for 44 years. She also works as a professional caregiver. Along with her family, she has opened her home to an adult with Down syndrome. Jessica lives in a small town in Utah with her husband and 2 daughters.
